Christina A. Madek is a senior associate with 14 years of litigation experience. Since Joining Jantzen & Associates in 2006 Attorney Madek has developed an extensive practice in a variety of complex litigation matters. Her expertise includes insurance defense, (PIP, bodily injury, homeowner’s, and worker’s compensation), all tort matters, personal injury, and complicated insurance coverage disputes, in both the District and Superior courts. She also specializes in prosecution of bad faith business acts and practices against national corporations, banks, and financial institutions, in state and federal court. Attorney Madek routinely litigates cases to successful resolution at all stages, including arbitration, dispositive motion practice, expert depositions and trial. She further handles appellate matters in the Massachusetts Appellate Division and Appeals Court, as well as appeal of state and federal administrative decisions. Her experience additionally includes prosecution and defense of contract claims, ranging from contracts for home improvement construction, insurance, real estate, and employment/intra company contracts.

Attorney Madek graduated cum laude from Boston College in 2002 and Suffolk University Law School in 2006, where she was an editor on the Transnational Law Review. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. For the past 10 years Attorney Madek has taught Business Law as an Adjunct Professor at a local Community College and is the author/co-author of multiple business law related publications.

Flinn v. Santander Bank, 359 F. Supp.3d 128 (D. Mass. 2019) (rejecting bank’s claim of diversity of citizenship and federal question jurisdiction).

Flinn v. Minnesota Life Insurance Company and Securian Financial, 353 F.Supp.3d 110 (D. Mass 2018) (holding Plaintiff’s tort and contract claims were not preempted by federal ERISA statute).

Performance Physical Therapy v. Metlife Auto & Home, 2017 Mass.App.Div. 11 (upholding award of summary judgment due to insured’s non-cooperation).

Golini v. Heffernan et al., Suffolk Superior Court Civil Action No. SUCV2011-02281 (Lauriat, J.) (overturning state Firearms Licensing Review Board’s denial of FID card and ordering FID card issue to Plaintiff).
